Abstract

Blendevale is a carbonate hosted Zn/Pb deposit located near the Pillara Range, 30 km southeast of Fitzroy Crossing (Fig. 1). It was discovered in 1978 as a result of a resolute grid drilling programme (Murphy et al in press). While geophysical surveys did not play a major role in the discovery, they have become an integral part of exploration in the area.
