Abstract
The efficacy of two dimensional gravity interpretation techniques in investigations of crustal structure at continental margins is contentious and difficult to quantify. It is generally assumed that gravity analyses can provide information on not only the density distribution within the crust and uppermost mantle, but also on isostatic mechanisms and crustal strength.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG977129
