Abstract
Digital computers have revolutionised virtually every form of activity in exploration geophysics from the collection to the interpretation of data. Computer systems collect data, process it (Tanner and Buck (1964, Royer (1968, and analyse and interpret it (Tanner (1967), Hartman et a1 (1965), Naudy (1970)). Their implementation in computer modelling has also been exceedingly fast and widespread.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG972115
