Abstract
Mineral Exploration starts and finishes with geology. Geophysics, in its proper place, is a service to the geologist to assist him to come as close as possible to the truth in a given geological situation. It is, generally speaking, a science of the sub-surface - a tangible way of dealing with intangibles. It could, in fact, be described as a method of quantifying the unknown.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG971238
