Abstract

A description is given of the disease caused by Pasteurella pseudotuberculosis in the Australian black-backed magpie, Gymnorhina tibicen (Latham). Characteristics of the isolated strain are described including its pathogenicity to mice, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, and sheep.
