Abstract

Methods of trapping winged insects attracted to the rabbit, Oryctolagus cuniculus (L.), are described. Three traps have been devised to catch insects above ground and as they enter or leave rabbit burrows. Their application in studies of myxomatosis vectors and mosquito ecology are discussed.
