Abstract
Two novel carvone tetrabromides and two novel carvone pentabromides are reported. n.m.r. data for a number of carvone tetrabromides and pentabromides are compared. A structure is assigned to Wallach's1 'α-carvone pentabromide', m.p. 142-143°.
