Abstract
A series of tetramethyldecahydroanthracene derivatives have been synthesized from the Diels -Alder product from 2,3-dimethylbuta-1,3-diene and p- benzoquinone . Their stereochemistry, conformational properties and n.m.r. spectra are discussed.
