Abstract
The complexation of thallium(I) by 18-crown-6, dibenzo-18-crown-6 and dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6 (cis-anti-cis isomer) was studied in methanol and N,N- dimethylformamide by a polarographic technique. The equilibrium stability constants were compared with the electron density distributions, calculated by the MNDO method, at the oxygen atoms of the macrocycles.
