Abstract
The photochemistry of the complex [ Ru (NO)Br3(Et2S)2] in chloroform initially involves the loss of some NO, which in the presence of dioxygen catalyses the oxidation of the coordinated diethyl sulfide to sulfoxide and sulfone.
