Unexpected Transaminations of Some Aminopyrimidin-4(3H)-ones

Abstract

Transamination reactions of 6-amino-2-methylthiopyrimidin-4-(3H)-one and some 2,6-diaminopyrimidin-4(3H)-ones with secondary amines are reported. The syntheses of various 6-amino-2-disubstituted aminopyrimidin-4(3H)-ones are described.
