The stereochemistry of some Polychlorocyclohex-3-enones; X-ray crystal structures of trans-2,2,3,4,5,6-Hexachloro-6-methylcyclohex-3-enone, cis-2,4,5,6,6-Pentachloro-2-methylcyclohex-3-enone and r-2,4,t-5,c-6-Tetrachloro-2,3,6-trimethylcyclohex-3-enone

Abstract

X-ray crystal structures of trans-2,2,3,4,5,6-hexachloro-6-methylcyclohex-3-enone, cis-2,4,5,6,6-penta-chloro-2-methylcyclohex-3-enone, and r-2,4,t-5, c-6-tetrachloro-2,3,6-trimethylcyclohex-3-enone are reported. The stereochemistry and probable conformations of some further polychlorocyclohex-3-enones are established from considerations of spectroscopic data.
