Organotin(IV) monothio-β-diketonates

Abstract

Triorgano-and monoorgano-tin(IV) derivatives of monothio-β-diketones have been prepared by different routes and characterized. Spectroscopic data suggest that triorganotin(iV) complexes, in sharp contrast to monoorganotin(IV) analogues, contain monothio-β-diketone moieties functioning as unidentate ligands bonded through the sulfur atoms.
