Chemical constituents of Harpullia pendula

Abstract

From the methanol extract of the bark of Harpullia pendula Planch. there have been isolated the known compounds A_l-barrigenol, camelliagenin A, 22α-hydroxyerythrodiol and methyl p-coumarate. The structures of three new triterpenes were assigned as A₁-barrigenol 22-angelate and camelliagenin A 16- and 22-angelate.
