Abstract
Reactions between CuC2Ar(Ar = Ph, p-MeC6H4, p-FC6H4 or C6F5) and Pt(C2H4)(PPh3), afforded Pt(C2Ar)2(PPh3)2, also obtained from PtCl2(PPh3)2 and CuC2Ar (for Ar = C6F5). The acetylene HC2C6F5 reacts with Pt(C2H4)(PPh3)2 to give Pt(η2-HC2C6F5)(PPh3)2 whereas Pt(PR3)4 (R = Phor Et) give the hydride-acetylide complexes trans-PtH(C2C6F5)(PR3)2https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9760073
