Abstract
In contrast to the copper(II) salts of dialkyl phosphates, the analogous aryl compound, bis(diphenyl phosphato)copper(II), forms a dimethylformamide solvate which may be doped into the corresponding cadmium compound. Under these circumstances, the e.s.r. spectrum of the dimethylformamide solvate of bis(diphenyl phosphato)copper(II) at -140°C shows signals attributed to superhyperfine coupling between the 31P nucleus of the ligand and the copper(II) ion. The magnetic parameters have been determined.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9752515
