An extension to the principle of congruence

Abstract

P.A graphical procedure, analogous to that already used for mixtures of homologues of the general formula A_nB, is described which can be used with mixtures of molecules of the general type, A_nB_n. The procedure is tested with enthalpies of mixing of ethers with other ethers and with alkanes.
