Bis(η-cyclopentadienyl)vanadium(IV) dithiochelates

Abstract

Complexes have been isolated between the bis(q-cyclopentadienyl)vanadium(IV) moiety and the maleonitriledithiolate, N- cyanodithiocarbimate, O-ethyl thioacetothioacetate, dithiobiuret and dimethyldithioarsinate anions. The results of conductance and magnetic measurements and of infrared, electronic and e.s.r. spectra have been interpreted in terms of the expected structure of the complexes.
