Abstract
Copper acetylacetonate produces differential line broadening in the 13C N.M.R. spectra of some simple aliphatic amines. The effect operates through electron-nuclear hyperfine coupling and exhibits a strong dependency on the relative geometrical arrangement of the interacting centres. The effect is useful in assigning the 13C N.M.R. spectra of some isomeric methylcyclohexylamines. Substituent effects of the amino group are discussed.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9750369
