Abstract
The title diterpenoid has been separated after base treatment of acidic and neutral extracts. Its structure is assigned by conversion into isopimara-8,15-diene and by spectroscopic data. The stereochemistry follows from chemical and spectroscopic examination of the 11α,16-diol formed by hydroboration of the ethylidene derivative.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9730173
