Abstract
The exchange of methyl groups between trimethylaluminium and dimethyl- (phenylethyny1)aluminium has been studied by proton magnetic resonance spectro- scopy. The kinetics indicate that a monomer of trimethylaluminium attacks a dimer of dimethyl(phenylethynyl)aluminium in the rate-determining step.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9682687
