Abstract
A number of methods for the preparation of 7,l0-disubstituted fluoranthenes have been investigated and fluoranthene-7,l0-diacetic acid has been synthesized. Attempts to cyclize this to a derivative of ibenzo[ghi,mno]fluoranthene were unsuccessful.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9682237
