Abstract
Variously substituted 3-arylacetylacetones are shown to form thermally robust non-ionic complexes with copper(II), nickel(II), and cobalt(II). The possibility of restricted rotation about the benzene-acetylacetone bond is postulated, and failure to prepare analogues of bis(acetylacetone)ethylenediamine is discussed.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9662251
