Studies on Xanthorrhoea resins. III. Xanthorrhoeol

Abstract

Xanthorrhoeol, C₁₅H₁₄O₃, has been isolated from Xanthorrhoea resinosa Pers., and its structure is shown to be that of 4-acetyl-5-hydroxy-2-methyl-2H,3H- naphtho[l,8-b,c]pyran.
