Abstract

    6,7-Cyolohexenochromanone, 6,7-benzochromanone, 6,7-cyclohexenochromone, and 6,7-benzochromone have been synthesized from a common starting material, 6,6,7,8-tetrahydro-2-naphthol. 6,7-Benzochroman has been obtained as a reaction by-product.
