Abstract
4-Methoxy-10-methylacridone demethylates more readily than the 1-, 2-, or 3-isomers but not so readily as the acridone alkaloids. 4-Hydroxy-10-methylacridone resembles the nor-alkaloids but its isomers have distinctly different properties.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9520206
