Lidia Matesic completed her BMedChem (Hons) at the University of Wollongong in 2006. She obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry in 2011 from the same institution under the supervision of Dr Danielle Skropeta. Lidia then moved to the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) where she is currently involved in radiochemistry research in the LifeSciences Division.
