Abstract
Atomic force microscopy (AFM) tips have been chemically modified using a variety of approaches mostly based on self-assembled monolayers (SAMs). Tips with both a hydrophobic and hydrophilic nature have been prepared and used to image glucose oxidase covalently attached to a self-assembled monolayer.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH03122
