Abstract
Investigation of a strain of an Acremonium sp fungus has led to the isolation of two butyrolactones not previously described as naturally occurring. The structures were deduced primarily by spectroscopic means, and, in the case of (2), confirmed by a single-crystal X-ray study.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH02154
