Abstract
Reaction between p-benzoquinone (p-BQ) and p-nitroaniline (p-NA) occurs both in the solid state and solution, forming a weak molecular addition compound (p-BQ)1 · (p-NA)1 in which the two components are associated by hydrogen bonding between one O atom of p-BQ and one H atom of the NH2 group of p-NA. Single crystals of the reaction product grown from solution belong to a monoclinic system.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH02075
