Abstract
Two new tetronic acid derivatives, 5-hydroxyvertinolide (1) and bislongiquinolide (2), have been isolated from the fungus Trichoderma longibrachiatum Rifai aggr., which is antagonistic to the fungus Mycena citricolor, the causative agent of the American leaf spot disease of coffee. The structures were determined by a combination of spectroscopic techniques, including 1H and 13C n.m.r., i.r., u.v., c.d., and mass spectrometry.https://doi.org/10.1071/C96103
