Abstract
Basal concentrations of prolactin but not luteinizing hormone were elevated in ewes by 8-10 h of heat stress given daily during the first 11 days of their oestrous cycle. However, the prolactin and luteinizing hormone responses to thyrotrophin releasing hormone and gonadotrophin releasing hormone were unaffected.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9790231
