Abstract
Seventy-six sows and gilts exhibiting natural oestrus were surgically inseminated with semen initially diluted with yolk-tris-EDTA-glycerol diluent and frozen by the pellet method. The inseminations covered three experiments in which volume of inseminate, motile spermatozoa per dose and time of insemination in relation either to the onset of oestrus or to ovulation were examined.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9740499
