Abstract
The growth of R. solani on agar decreased from 7·5 to 0 mm/day with reduction in water activity from 0·995 to 0·960. Growth differed slightly when sucrose was used as a solute, as compared with a salt mixture, to produce a number of water activities. The effects of decreasing water activity were similar with a number of isolates of R. solani.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9710057
