Abstract
The isolation of three soil bacteria exhibiting inositol phosphate phosphatase activity is described. One isolate, a member of the genus Pseudomonas, had pronounced phytase activity but the others had not. The latter were slightly active against pentaphosphates, however, and they easily dephosphorylated tetraphosphates and lower esters.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9700339
