Abstract
Gill and Clemmer performed an inbreeding experiment by using Monte Carlo simulation techniques and reported that both selection and linkage significantly increased the rate of inbreeding in a population of a given size. The results could not be explained by the theoretical explanation that linkage should not affect in· breeding coefficient in the absence of selection. A programme was written to repeat Gill's and Clemmer's experiment ..https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9680045
