The Electrophoretic Heterogeneity of Ovine Laotate Dehydrogenase

Abstract

The lactate dehydrogenase activity of ovma tissues has been meaSUI'ed and the existence of electrophoretically distinct forms of this enzyme confirmed. Distribution patterns of these isoenzymes have been charted for the main tissues, and the plasma pattern has been utilized as a olinioal parameter of tissue function in prolonged protein depletion.
