Abstract
The respiratory activity of mouse testis is stimulated by added glucose or fructose. Under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions. glucose is rapidly metabolized with the production of lactic acid. Under the same conditions fructose is utilized to a much less extent and only small amounts of lactic acid are formed. Inorganic phosphate markedly stimulates aerobic and anaerobic glycolysis but inbibits respiration.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9620207
