Abstract
Two factors are involved in the diving reaction of larvae of Culex fatigans,Wied., a kinetic stimulus which initiates movement and a directional stimulus. The kinetic stimulus may be a water vibration, a change in light intensity, or amild electric shock. The directional stimulus is normally a combination of lightand gravity.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9500113
