Abstract
We discuss our work on chemical abundance ratios of stars belonging to the thick-disk and thin-disk stellar populations. We discuss the selection of stars, and show that the two samples of stars have different [α/Fe] versus [Fe/H] behaviour.Keywords: Galaxy: abundances — Galaxy: disk — Galaxy: evolution
