Abstract
Received 2001 January 12, accepted 2001 March 20Microlensing observations may give us the first nano-arcsecond scale information about the structure of quasars. I review what is currently known about quasars on these scales, highlighting the principal uncertainties. I cover both the continuum emission and the broad line region. I conclude that little is firmly known about the structure of quasars.
