Results confirmedgreater use of personal development plans and increased attendance at continuingprofessional development among participants compared with like managers who hadnot participated. The paper argues strongly in favour of widespread use ofmanagement competencies assessment centres as a way to implement planned culturalchange.https://doi.org/10.1071/AH970119
