The Tipulidae (Diptera) of Australia. VI.* The genus Acracantha Skuse

Abstract

The genus Acracantha Skuse, 1890, is revised. Three Australian species are recognized. A. tasmaniensis Alexander and A. octava Alexander are treated as synonyms of A. sydneyensis Skuse. An account is given of the distribution of the species. A key for the species is provided.
