Abstract

The genera Macropostrongyloides Yamaguti, 1961, and Paramacropostrongylus Johnston & Mawson, 1949, are revised. Species of Macropostrongyloides recognized and described are M. lasiorhini (Mawson, 1955), M. baylisi (Wood, 1930), M. dissimilis (Johnston & Mawson, 1939) and M. yamagutii. sp. nov., the last species being found in Macropus fuliginosus. Two species are described in the genus Paramacropostrongylus, P. typicus Johnston & Mawson. 1940, and P. toraliformis, sp. nov., the latter found in Macropus giganteus.
