A review of the Australian specieso of Hydroptila Dalma (Trichoptera : Hydroptilidae) with descriptions of the new species

Abstract

The taxonomy of Hydroptila Dalman in Australia is examined. The four known species are reviewed and females of three of them described for the first time. Descriptions of five new species are given, with male and female for four and male only for the fifth. A key to adults is provided.
