Temperature-salinity anomalies at depths between 200m and 800m in the Tasman sea

Abstract

Data obtained using a temperature-salinity-depth recorder in the Tasman Sea in 1965 show salinity anomalies at depths between 200 and 800 m. It is suggested that these are produced by an outflow of saline water from Bass Strait.
