Aims: To explore the incentives of water rights confirmation in agriculture and its transmission mechanism for water conservation among farmers and explore the incentive measures for farmers to save water. Methods: Quantitative research method. Key results: Water rights confirmation in agriculture influences farmers' willingness to conserve water and the amount of investment in water conservation through security effects, credit effects, and transaction effects.
