Abstract
Antibiotics were discovered over 50 years ago, providing a long sought after treatment for infectious diseases. These drugs effectively suppressed diseases such as tuberculosis and infections such as those caused by Staphylococcus aureus.https://doi.org/10.1071/MA02508
