Abstract
The lipid-soluble extract of the brown alga Cystophora torulosa has yielded a complex mixture of polyketide-derived alkenyl resorcinols and a phloroglucinol, together with two straight chain polyenes. Two polyprenyl chromans were also isolated in low yield.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9772527
