Abstract
The isolation and identification of two isoflavones from fungal- infected pods of Phaseolus vulgaris L. is described. One, genistein, is known to occur in other legumes. On the basis of ultraviolet and p.m.r. spectroscopy and of mass spectra, the second compound was tentatively identified as 2?,4?,5,7-tetrahydroxyisoflavone.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9751389
